Day 7
We had to move sites today, so we spent much of the morning waiting for the folks on our next site to leave. They left right at checkout time, 1:00. We hopped down three sites, hooked up, and headed to Azalea Park.
The Rock Bottom Boys, a hillbilly band that takes songs and puts their own spin on them, were performing a free concert in the park.
There is a small, architecturally interesting chapel, Capella by the Sea, in the park. Elmo Williams had the chapel built as a memorial to his wife. The wall facing the ocean is glass and provides a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere.
Azalea Park is a small botanical garden. It didn't take long to wander through.
We visited Lone Ranch Beach. Another one of the many beaches along Oregon's coast. We wandered.
