Day 68, Arches

We hit 10,000 miles today as we continued our trip west and entered Utah. Denis decided to take the Scenic Byway, hwy 128 instead of continuing on Interstate 70 into Moab. We stopped at a scenic pullout for lunch. Here are some photos from today's drive.

Do you see the bike path at the right of the highway?

For the next three nights, we are at Ken's Lake, a BLM campground with no services, not even water. Luckily, I found a tip online and we were able to get water from Lions Park, a local park two miles from Arches.

We spent the rest of the day driving hiking around Arches National Park. The scenery is incredible.

More from Arches tomorrow.
