Day 41, Raindrops are Falling on our Heads

We left Watkins Glen just as it began to rain.

We drove across the bottom of New York and dipped into Pennsylvania through county roads and small towns. Pretty, but once again, gas stations were few and far between, or had some questionable brand for higher than the going rate. Our California family and friends would be interested to know that we've paid as little as $2.81/gallon, though most stations have averaged $3.50/gallon. That's nice for us since we average 13 miles a gallon when pulling the trailer.

We are in the Catskills at North-South Campground. I had to sign a statement saying that I'd been made aware that black bears have been seen in the campground. We won't be seeing any today. It had not stopped raining. We are looking forward to it clearing up tomorrow. 🤞
