Day 35, What is Home?

Today was another day of miles and miles of driving. It was our longest day so far but I wanted to get here by today since it is my brother's birthday.

Maybe it didn't seem as long as other days since we were in familiar territory for part of it. As corn fields turned into vineyards - we all know Western New York is known for its wine😅  and the green, rolling hills of Pennsylvania turned into flat, more sparselied treed areas along the Thruway I felt I was coming home, though I haven't lived here since 1979.

For now, we are settled into our "home" for the next four nights. I'm looking forward to seeing family and friends who, like so many, I haven't seen since the Pandemic started. Saying prayers we will all stay healthy and safe.
