Day 30, Two New States but No New Photos 😯

It was another long day of traveling east on long, straight, flat roads. We drove right through Indiana and didn't stop anywhere interesting for lunch and didn't look for ice cream along the way. While there are still cornfields, they are broken up with other crops we haven't been able to identify.

Tonight we are in another city-run campground. This one is outside Columbus, Ohio in Plain City, Ohio.

Denis spent time in this area when he was on an International Standards Committee for the digital storage and retrieval of information, primarily for libraries. One of the folks he resonated most with and has kept in contact with lives in Dublin, OH, about 9 miles from here. That made this a reasonable stop on the way to Ohiopyle.

Turns out, Ralph's dad lives about 4 trailers down the row we are on, so Ralph and his wife offered to pick up dinner at City Barbeque and bring it to us. We had a very nice catching up and getting to know you visit.

We've learned some lessons over the past week. The big one being that driving is tiring. We'll use that knowledge as we plan our trip home, hoping for shorter driving days and (maybe) longer stops.
